Junior Web developer Required
Squiggle Design are looking for a recent graduate who has not made the leap into full time employment to join our team as a junior web developer.
Squiggle, a small and perfectly formed design agency based in Dorking. Squiggle has built a first class reputation for producing work to an exacting standard for local and national clients.
 
What are the skills we are looking for:
HTML / CSS
Convert Photoshop designs into functioning web pages, using XHTML (or HTML 5) and CSS, cross browser testing, accessibility and an eye for detail.
jQuery
HTML Emails
PHP / MySQL
Wordpress (set-up and build custom themes)
SEO (basic knowledge)
Web IT related tasks
 
What we are offering
A 3-6 month paid internship with a view to a full-time job at the end of your placement, for the right candidate.
We will help you grow as a developer giving you tasks that will help you improve and learn the industry and what is required to meet our high standards of workmanship.
 
The Offer
Will vary depending on the candidate.
It’s an Internship, so we’ll be honest, the pay will be low, but you will be paid above minimum wage at the least.
If it all works out after 3-6 months you could expect to be on a salary of £17-20k in the first year, rising after that.
